During an inspection we found and repaired this problem
We found this combiner box with a burned negative, the thermal imaging shows the heat from the negative conductor. This was due to a loose connection. We had to replace the negative bus and lugs, clean the feeder conductor and cut back the smaller string negatives. We meggered everything and re-installed.
